3D Crochet
If you are familiar with the basic crochet stitches – single, double and treble crochet stitches and would like to go one step further, this workshop is ideal for you.
The word ‘Amigurumi’ meaning “knitted or crocheted toys” is from Japanese origin and as the name suggests, is the art of creating stuffed animals or dolls by knitting or crocheting.
In this workshop you will learn to:
- Make increase and decrease stitches
- Progress from creating 2D shaped crochet items (blankets, scarves, mats etc) to 3D shapes
- Create a small stuffed animal out of 3D shapes – eg., a bunny like in the image above.
Materials – Yarn, hook and stuffing for the chosen project will be suggested and have to be personally bought / arranged by you.
Duration – 4 hours of online guidance + private video tutorial for the chosen project.
