Learn to Crochet by Little Hive is a popular in-person beginners’ workshop, now offered in Mumbai for children. This workshop has been highly rated and reviewed by several students in London (where I used to teach earlier), and received a Platinum Badge status by www.craftcourses.com.
It is open for children over 9 years, with 4 weekly sessions in a month, 2 hours each session.
In this 8-hour workshop for children, I will be teaching
- the basics of crochet stitches.
- tips and techniques to get the foundation right.
- how to make and take an easy beginners’ project
There will be some homework for the children to take back after each session so they can practice what they’ve learnt. Crochet is a craft with vast possibilities, a life skill that can be fine tuned forever so there is no end to how much one can learn. What I try to bring in my workshop is for children to develop an interest in handwork so it becomes a lifelong engagement. There will be absolutely no rush and hurry to finish, we will work slowly and joyfully.
Price includes basic materials and light refreshments.
